Astragal bars are an important style feature, particularly on Georgian-style sash windows, giving the effect of multiple panes of glass. In the past, astragal bars on PVCu windows have been very chunky and plastic-looking.

Secured by Design
Secured by Design status has been awarded for the new Flush window range and is available on both the fully-welded and mechanical-jointed options. This is believed to be one of the only Mechanical Joint options with Secured by Design status in the UK market. Part Q compliant, high security multi-point shootbolts are also supplied as standard, with stylish signature locking handles, providing added peace of mind.

Q-Lon Gaskets
There are gaskets, then there is Q-Lon. This is simply the best performing gasket in the industry and comes with a manufacturer lifetime guarantee. With excellent compression recovery of 99%, the Q-Lon gasket retains its shape year after year. It operates perfectly in temperatures from -20 to +70ºC and has the best acoustic and thermal performance across the widest temperature range. It also gives constant height at corners for improved weathering and does not produce weld sprue. Furthermore, this gasket provides low operating forces on gearing which in turn ensures ease of operation for the user and reduces wear and tear.

Fully Welded or Mechanical Joint Options
Many manufacturers overlook the importance of the style of joints in between each corner of the window frame. For a more traditional look, Mechanical Sash joints are the best choice as the corners are handcrafted to fit together to create the joint. But a popular and durable choice for a modern sash window is a welded joint which is more cost effective.

28mm and 36mm Glazing Options
Having the choice of two glazing widths gives the consumer the option of improved thermal performance.

SAC Locking as Standard
The SAC shootbolt system is specially designed to be flexible and adaptable and has been rigorously tested to BS7950 to achieve Secured by Design status. It takes pressure away from the hinges, ensuring longevity and the tight seal guarantees weather protection. The eight locking points, with unique corner drive design, come as standard across the entire range. The full depth eurogroove lock-out design maximises security performance and offers 400% more shootbolt contact area when compared to traditional flat shootbolts.

Hand Assembled and Finished
The new Flush range is handcrafted and finished to provide the consumer with a unique aesthetic. To complete the look, a wide range of solid and wood grain finishes are available as standard to give consumers choice and to suit both traditional and contemporary properties.
